This map gathers Alberta's road cameras into one fast, searchable view, pulled straight from the province's official 511 Alberta system. Alberta driving means real winter — Arctic cold snaps, sudden blizzards and ground blizzards on the open prairie, black ice after a chinook, and heavy snow over the Rocky Mountain passes. The surest way to know what the road is doing is to look at it before you head out.

Coverage spans the whole province. The QEII (Highway 2) is the busy spine linking Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton; the Trans‑Canada Highway (Highway 1) runs west from Calgary through Canmore into Banff National Park — past the Banff townsite and Lake Louise — to Kicking Horse Pass at the B.C. line, and east to Medicine Hat; the Yellowhead (Highway 16) carries Edmonton west to Hinton and Jasper National Park, where the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) climbs past the Columbia Icefield. Calgary's Stoney Trail and Deerfoot, and Edmonton's Anthony Henday and Whitemud, are densely covered, along with Highway 3 over the Crowsnest Pass and the routes north toward Fort McMurray and Grande Prairie.
