Florida FDOT Cameras — Live Road Cameras & Map

Florida runs the largest single road-camera network on this site: roughly 4,881 live cameras from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), published through the FL511 traveler-information system and fed by FDOT's SunGuide traffic-management software. Coverage spans all seven FDOT districts, from the Panhandle to the Keys, but it is densest where the traffic is worst: the Miami, Orlando, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville metros, where freeways, tolled expressways and major bridges all crowd together. This guide explains where those cameras are, which corridors matter most, and how to read them before you drive.

The presets group the network the way Florida drivers actually think about it: the South Florida tangle of I-95, I-75, I-595, the Palmetto (SR-826) and Dolphin (SR-836) expressways and Florida's Turnpike around the Golden Glades; the Orlando spine of I-4 with the SR-408, SR-417 and SR-528 BeachLine expressways; the Tampa Bay bridges and the I-275/I-4/I-75 web; Jacksonville's I-95/I-10/I-295 beltway and its St. Johns River crossings; Southwest Florida's I-75 run across Alligator Alley; and the long I-10 Panhandle haul through Pensacola, Tallahassee and Panama City.

One honest note up front: these are refreshing still images, not live video, and FDOT's cameras carry no roadside weather or pavement sensors. To give you context we show the nearest airport's conditions alongside each camera, drawn from the closest National Weather Service station. That gives you air temperature, wind and humidity near the camera, but it is an airport reading that can be several miles away, not a measurement of the road surface itself. In a state defined by sudden downpours, dense fog on I-4 and Alligator Alley, and hurricane season, the live picture is still your best signal: you can see rain, standing water, fog, and backed-up traffic with your own eyes. For official closures, evacuation orders and incident details, always pair the cameras with FL511.
