This map brings together hundreds of live road cameras from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), pulled from the state's TrafficWise system and Indiana 511 (511in.org), into one fast, searchable view. Whether you're checking the I-465 beltway around Indianapolis, watching the Borman Expressway through Gary and Hammond, or planning a long run down I-65 to Louisville, you can see what the road actually looks like right now instead of guessing.
Coverage follows Indiana's busiest corridors. I-465 makes the 53-mile loop around Indianapolis, with I-65, I-70, I-69 and I-74 radiating into the downtown interchanges, including the rebuilt North Split where I-65 and I-70 cross. In the northwest, the I-80/94 Borman Expressway carries one of the nation's heaviest truck loads through Hammond and Gary, alongside I-65 and the I-90 Indiana Toll Road and Chicago Skyway. Up north, the I-80/90 Toll Road links South Bend, Mishawaka and Elkhart; in the northeast, I-69 and the I-469 loop ring Fort Wayne. Statewide, I-65 runs Gary–Indianapolis–Louisville, I-69 connects Evansville–Indianapolis–Fort Wayne, and I-70 crosses east to west through Terre Haute and Richmond.

Statewide

Indianapolis

Northwest Indiana (the Region)
Cameras across the Calumet Region through Hammond, Gary and Merrillville, covering the I-80/94 Borman Expressway, I-65, and the I-90 Indiana Toll Road and Chicago Skyway. This is one of the country's busiest truck corridors and a heavy Chicago commute, prone to lake-effect snow off Lake Michigan.
Fort Wayne
Cameras around northeast Indiana's largest city, covering I-69 through town, the I-469 loop that swings around the south and east sides, and the US-30 and US-24 corridors. Useful for tracking truck traffic on the bypass and winter conditions on the open approaches.
South Bend & the Toll Road
Cameras along the I-80/90 Indiana Toll Road through South Bend, Mishawaka and Elkhart, plus US-31 and the routes toward Notre Dame. A scenic but storm-prone northern corridor where lake-effect snow and blowing snow can cut visibility fast in winter.
Tips for using Indiana road cameras
- Before crossing Indianapolis, scan the I-465 beltway and the downtown interchanges (the North Split where I-65 and I-70 meet, plus the South Split) to spot backups before you choose between the loop and the inner route.
- On the I-80/94 Borman Expressway through Hammond and Gary, expect heavy truck traffic and frequent congestion. Check the cameras to judge whether to ride it out or detour, especially during the Chicago-bound commute.
- In the northwest near Lake Michigan, lake-effect snow can drop whiteout conditions on I-94 and the Toll Road while roads a few miles inland stay dry. Use the cameras to see the band before you drive into it.
- Each camera shows the nearest airport's conditions from the National Weather Service, not a sensor at the pole. A wet-looking road near freezing usually means ice, so pair the image with that temperature and wind reading before you go.
- Save your regular cameras as favorites, such as your I-465 commute, the Borman, or a stretch of the Toll Road near South Bend, so they load with one tap on your next trip.
