NJ Turnpike & Parkway Cameras — Live Road Cameras & Map
All NJ Turnpike & Parkway cameras — interactive statewide map
About this map
This map gathers the live streaming cameras from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) — the two roads it runs, the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) and the Garden State Parkway — into one fast, searchable view. These are live video, not still photos, so they play right in your browser: watch the George Washington Bridge approach back up, check the Turnpike before a run to Philadelphia, or size up the Garden State Parkway before a summer Friday drive to the Shore.
The New Jersey Turnpike is the state's I-95 spine, running from the Delaware Memorial Bridge in the south up through the dual-dual carriageways past Woodbridge and Newark to the George Washington Bridge, with the Pearl Harbor Memorial (Newark Bay) Extension toward Jersey City and the Pennsylvania Extension to the Delaware River. The Garden State Parkway runs the length of the state from Cape May north through Toms River, the Shore towns, Newark and Paramus to the New York Thruway at Montvale. Both are among the busiest toll roads in the country, and this map puts their cameras in one place.
Use the area presets to jump to North Jersey, Central Jersey, the Shore or South Jersey, search for a specific interchange or town, save the cameras you check most as favorites, and pull up nearby weather for any feed. Note this covers the two NJTA toll roads specifically — New Jersey's other state highways run on the separate 511NJ system — so it's built for Turnpike and Parkway travelers: commuters, Shore-bound families and anyone crossing the state's big bridges.

Statewide
Every NJTA camera on one map — the full New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) from the Delaware Memorial Bridge to the George Washington Bridge, and the Garden State Parkway from Cape May to the New York line. Best for an at-a-glance read before a long drive across the state.
North Jersey
Cameras on the Turnpike's northern end toward the George Washington Bridge and Fort Lee, the Newark Bay (Pearl Harbor) Extension, and the Garden State Parkway through Bergen and Passaic up to the New York Thruway at Montvale. The most congestion-prone stretch, especially for NYC-bound traffic.
Central Jersey
Turnpike cameras through the dual-dual carriageways around Woodbridge, Edison, New Brunswick and East Brunswick (interchanges 8A–13), plus the Parkway through the same corridor and the big Turnpike/Parkway interchange at Woodbridge.
Jersey Shore
Garden State Parkway cameras down the Shore — Toms River, Asbury Park, Long Branch and the Long Beach Island and Atlantic City approaches. The route to watch for the notorious summer-weekend beach traffic, southbound on Fridays and northbound on Sundays.
South Jersey
The Turnpike's southern end at the Delaware Memorial Bridge (interchange 1) toward Swedesboro and Camden, and the Garden State Parkway south through Atlantic City to its Cape May terminus. Key for Philadelphia-bound and shore-point traffic.
Tips for using New Jersey road cameras
- For the Jersey Shore, check the Garden State Parkway cameras before you leave — summer beach traffic clogs it southbound on Friday afternoons and northbound on Sunday evenings, and the live video tells you whether to go now or wait.
- Before the George Washington Bridge or the Lincoln/Holland approaches, scan the northern Turnpike and Newark Bay Extension cameras — a backup there ripples for miles into New York-bound traffic.
- These feeds are live video, not still images, so a camera that's briefly offline shows "Live video unavailable" rather than an old picture — just try a nearby camera or check back in a moment.
- In a nor'easter or coastal storm, use the Shore and South Jersey cameras to see real conditions on the Parkway before heading toward the coast, where wind and flooding hit first.
- Save your regular cameras as favorites — your Turnpike commute, the GWB approach, or your stretch of the Parkway to the Shore — so they load with one tap next time.
- This map covers the NJTA toll roads (Turnpike and Parkway); for New Jersey's other state highways and for official closures, check 511NJ at 511nj.org or dial 511 in New Jersey.
